Account Closure & Data Deletion
How tenants close accounts and how data subjects request erasure.
You have the right to close your Workspace and to ask us to delete personal data we hold about you. This page explains how to do that, what happens to your data after you ask, and which records we may need to retain by law.
1. Tenant-initiated Workspace closure
1.1 How to close
A Workspace owner may request closure by emailing delete-account@vizible.in from the registered owner email, or by raising a closure request from the in-product billing area.
1.2 Verification
We will verify the request is legitimate (e.g. by confirming via the registered owner email and, where applicable, by checking that no other administrators have raised an objection). For paid plans, any outstanding fees must be cleared or waived before closure.
1.3 Grace period & export
Once verified, the Workspace enters a thirty (30) day grace period during which:
- Workspace access is read-only.
- Owners may export Tenant Content (orders, customers, invoices, communications, tasks, etc.).
- The closure can be reversed by the owner at any time before the grace period ends.
1.4 Permanent deletion
At the end of the grace period, Tenant Content is permanently deleted from the live environment. Data is also purged from rolling backups within ninety (90) days, except where statutory retention applies (see §3 below). Anonymised analytics that no longer identify any individual may be kept indefinitely.
2. End-customer / employee deletion requests
If you are a Tenant's End-Customer, employee or contact, the Tenant is the controller of your data and is the right party to receive your erasure request. Please contact the Tenant directly. FYNBIT will assist the Tenant in fulfilling your request.
If you are unable to reach the Tenant or believe your request is being ignored, you may write to privacy@vizible.in. We will contact the Tenant on your behalf and, where required by law, take steps to ensure the request is honoured.
3. Records we may retain after deletion
- Tax invoices and books of account (eight years, Companies Act, 2013 §128(5) and GST audit).
- Anti-money-laundering / anti-fraud records to the extent required by applicable law.
- Records subject to a legal hold, regulator request, court order or active dispute.
- Anonymised analytics that no longer identify any individual.
- Audit logs of administrative events for up to twelve (12) months for security investigation.
4. Process for direct individual requests to FYNBIT
- Send an email to delete-account@vizible.in with the subject line "Account deletion request".
- Include enough information for us to verify your identity (typically the email registered on the account, the Workspace slug if applicable, and any other identifiers we ask for).
- We will acknowledge within seventy-two (72) hours and complete the request within thirty (30) days, or such longer period as is permitted by law where the request is complex.
- Once processing is complete we will send a confirmation by email.
5. Self-service deletion roadmap
Roadmap note. A self-service "Close Workspace" flow with one-click data export is on the roadmap. Until it ships, the email-based process described in §1 and §4 is fully honoured by our team within the same timelines.
6. Sub-processors
When we delete personal data we instruct our sub-processors to do the same. Sub-processor deletion timelines may differ; for example, gateway-side payment records remain with the licensed Payment Aggregator subject to its own retention rules. The current sub-processor list is at /legal/sub-processors.
7. Reactivation after deletion
Once the grace period expires and data has been purged, the deletion cannot be reversed. You may register a new Workspace at any time, but historic Tenant Content will not be restored.
